Many thanks to Richie, Mitchel and the team for another lovely short break. The food and service was fabulous and the spa relaxing. Hope to see you all with our daughter in the New Year. Great evenings spent chatting to other residents too. Happy Christmas!

There is a lot to like about this historic hotel. We especially liked all the staff who are lovely - welcoming, friendly and helpful - thank you Simon for the warm welcome. We had a Classic Room - Honeysuckle - which is one of their accessible rooms (we don't need one of those but were happy with it) which is a good-sized room for the category with a super-king comfortable bed, large bathroom and quiet location in the hotel. We appreciated the fruit, home-made shortbread and mints in the room. We had a full English breakfast on both days of our stay which was delicious - we also enjoyed the overnight oats, yogurt and fruit pots, which were served in individual kilner jars. We were staying at the hotel for a family wedding (not at the hotel) so we didn't eat in the restaurant or visit the spa. The hotel has several beautiful drawing rooms which offer comfortable spaces to relax by the fire and enjoy the scenery. It is a little old fashioned in places (sachets in the breakfast room and in the rooms with UHT milk pots) and the outside could do with some tidying (painting the downpipes, for example) but as a 3-rosette hotel we think it offers a lovely stay which is excellent value.

My Daughter and I visited for a much needed pamper day. We decided to add on a nights stay to have a whole pamper day. We started in the spa with a delicious cream tea ( mine gluten free and absolutely delicious!) We enjoyed using the spa which was quiet and really relaxing. We had lovely treatments in the spa which were so relaxing and we felt very pampered. After the spa we were taken to our room Which was beautiful, very tastefully decorated and we settled in. the shower was so powerful it was lovely! Our bed was very comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and they had remembered I was gluten free and adjusted my food without me having to keep asking. The food was delicious and well seasoned and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening. Breakfast was plentiful and there was so much choice. I’d like to thank the staff for their very warm welcome, and particular thanks to the ladies in the spa who made us feel so pampered and relaxed- you have no idea how much we needed that. If you’re looking for a nice indulgent stay with delicious food and welcoming staff look no further.

We stayed at Northcote Manor for our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing meal, followed by a very relaxing stay and a lovely breakfast. We found the staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming, they were very attentive and nothing was too much. The Manor is in beautiful grounds and the attention to detail made our stay very memorable. Thank you

We have just returned from 4 nights in this lovely hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing. The bedroom, Azalea, was spacious, well equipped with two armchairs, bath robes, etc. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the evening meals were delightful, well presented with different specials each day. The staff are very friendly and this extended to the Spa. Special mention of Louise who always had a smile and a friendly chat and over the course of our stay appeared at breakfast, the Spa and evening meals. The Spa is excellent from the swimming pool to the jacuzzi and offered great treatments. Mollie providing relaxing massages. Behind the Spa is a terrace where we were fortunate enough to sit with a beer in the sunshine overlooking the beautiful countryside.

The place itself is really nice and the staff are really friendly but it’s really out dated as a 22 year old this place felt like I was in in the 70s we didn’t ask for mushroom soup and was served that as a stater also as it was my birthday they said they would decorate the tables and put 3 confetti on the table witch was disappointing and then served carrot crake which my friend is allergic too not the best standards and then was told can have it for breakfast the rooms are really dated as well not that impressed with the standards

When we arrived it looked good but later you could see it needed a little tlc with painting required and gutters clearing. The staff were good and were knowledgeable about the hotel and services and were friendly. We ate in the restaurant on the two nights we were there for. The menu looked good but on occasions was let down by the delivery some dishes lacked some seasoning and some sauces described were not as tasty as expected by the description. My wife had a spa treatment which was good and which she enjoyed. Overall was OK but unlikely to return

So disappointed After visiting Northcote manor for my own birthday last year where we had a beautiful meal in a lovely relaxed atmosphere I was looking forward to buying vouchers for my brothers special Birthday so he could enjoy the same experience. Tried to book vouchers on line but failed Tried ringing the reception , after waiting for quite some time the phone was answered by a very unhelpful person who explained in a disinterested manner that the website was down and she had no idea when it would be up again. I asked if I could arrange vouchers over the phone and was told No Asked if there was any way I could obtain vouchers I was told No Sadly no Northcote manor experience for my brother🥲🥲

Our 4th three day break proved to be just as good as previous experiences. The welcome and service is warm friendly and efficient. The hotel is spotless and rooms warm comfortable and well appointed. Dining is a particular pleasure with interesting menus and beautifully presented dishes. A special mention for Mitchel who again did so much to make our stay all the more enjoyable.
